While researching the design of a savonius wind turbines we have found a lot of do it yourself blogs that have been very helpful. Since the goal of our design is to be simple, constructed from available components and easily reparable, these “backyard” wind turbine blogs give great examples of rugged, manageable designs that suit our needs.
